The Pure Wild Oregon story began in 2003 in Winchester Bay, Oregon. Nancy Faubel developed a line of natural jams, sauces, mixes and oils under the Windy Bay Gourmet brand. In 2009, production moved to the Sourdough Bakery on Rt. 101, where she sold her products along with delicious breads and deli sandwiches; and Oregon souvenirs and memorabilia. Her hand-crafted products started to gain recognition from locals and people stopping by the bakery for refreshments while driving along the Oregon coast. Customers were able to taste samples and that usually led to a purchase. As more and more requests for the products started to come in, Nancy decided it was time to refine the brand and move into the retail market.
